Where Are Our Priorities?

Here we are as a nation, on the verge of getting our clock cleaned by North Korea,  and our liberties and freedom taken away from us by our government, lobbyist, bureaucrats, unions, extreme environmentalist, progressives, fear mongers, etc., loosing more of our military to causality in Afghanistan and all the news outlets are reporting and focusing on Michael Jackson and Sarah Palin.

SEOUL, South Korea — North Korea fired three missiles off its eastern coast Saturday, South Korea said, in what was likely to be seen as a message of defiance to the United States on its Independence Day holiday.

Fox news can’t seem to stop themselves from having a slobbering love affair with Sarah Palin.  This is exactly what Fox news accused the other news networks of doing with Obama.

What exactly does this tell me about our culture and society?

I was just as shocked by the death of MJ as the rest of the world even though I wasn’t a groupie fan of his.  I, for one, could care less about celebrity entitlement.

Let’s get past all this BS and report what is important to our country.

  1. We have our heads in the sand like an Ostridge. This is what happened when Pearl Harbor was attacked. I find it very scary to think that this country is so focused on themselves that they can’t see the danger in front of their faces.

  2. Yeah, and Obama is busy eating pies all day long in the White House. As far as MJ goes, he deserves his time because people were touched in many ways by his music. But I do agree with what you’re saying completely. As for Palin, I don’t think to many people really give a damn about her.
