Most, if not all, Republican’s agree with this quote-
-until they find that, it is a quote by Ayn Rand. Some Republican’s fear that the mere mention of Ayn Rand, or heaven forbid if they agree with her philosophy, then they magically turn into an atheist.
Christian Religions and Republicans are each divided by schism. To go even further, the Protestant religion is divided into many factions.
If one is Catholic and one is Protestant, will each deny the other to call themselves Christians? If I am a fiscal conservative and you’re a social conservative, will you denounce me when I call myself a Republican?
I hope not. Aren’t all Christians beholding to the same God? And, isn’t it the goal for fiscal conservatives and social conservatives to defeat the democrats-to preserve our Republic?
There are many fiscal conservative who believe and who will die to protect these words-We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.–It would be like telling a Protestant that he isn’t a Christian because he or she broke away for the Church (Christ established one Church with a single head…[Matt 16:19]). What if I told you that all Protestants are heretics. Holy Scriptures are clear on the point that only those who belong to the one Church founded by Christ, the Catholic Church (Universal Church), can rightfully be considered Christians.
I find all it absurd to tell a Protestant that he or she is a heretic and that they cannot call themselves Christian. Also, I find it absurd that if one doesn’t follow or attest to social conservatism, then one cannot be a Republican.
To further state, I find it absurd that if one agrees with some of Ayn Rand‘s Objectionist Philosophy, then one is an atheist. Therefore, they cannot call themselves a Republican.
